We extend our sympathy to Kerry Hinson in the loss of his sister, Ann Gillam, who passed away Monday in Michigan.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

We extend our sympathy Gary Holland and family in the loss of his sister, Peggy Mullinicks, who passed away Sunday morning. Visitation will be held today from 9 until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM at the Luff Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Amanda Perry (friend of many at Walnut Street), who passed away Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.

Movie Night for 6th-12th Grades has been postponed. Enjoy the hayride and bonfire at the Webb home on Saturday evening!

Walnut Street will participate in Boo Fest on Main again this year! Make plans to join us Saturday, October 30 from 5-7 PM, in the parking lot beside our counseling building. We need lots of candy donations, and those can be brought to the office or the Gathering Room. We would like to borrow one or two Halloween themed inflatables to help decorate the space.  Please call or email the church office if you have one of these to loan.

Join us for a Gift Card Shower honoring Evan & Mary Catherine Radtke.  A box for gift cards will be located in the Upper Gathering Room on Sunday, October 24. Mary and Evan are registered at Amazon, Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Just a reminder that all adult classes are invited to meet in the auditorium for Wednesday night classes for the following dates:  October 20, 27 and November 3. Tonight’s lesson is Dealing with the Loss of an Adult Child and will be taught by Steve Baggett.

The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting small tools and flashlights during the month of October. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community.  Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
