We wish to congratulate Tommy and Renee Badon on the birth of their granddaughter, Annie Elizabeth Badon, who was born May 3. Proud parents are Beau and Darcie Badon and proud aunt is Aubrie Badon.

- Zachary Scruggs, is in Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital with pneumonia and other health issues
- Virginia Littleton, who has moved to NHC; not doing well
- Walter Crafton, who received good results from recent tests
- Margie Albright, who is under hospice care at Signature Healthcare
- Paul Wilkins, who is recovering at home
- Richard Wright, who is experiencing health problems
- Marlinia Rhodes, (wife of Joe Rhodes, minister at New Johnsonville) did not receive good results from a PET scan yesterday; will undergo additional tests
- John Paul Brown, (son of Paul & Amy Brown) who has COVID
- Gary Breegle, (brother-in-law of Ken Cargile) who will undergo valve replacement surgery on Thursday at Centennial Medical Center

Churches of Christ Disaster Relief is in need of volunteers to help pack food boxes this Thursday at 10 AM. Their address is 410 Allied Drive in Nashville.
May’s Wednesday Express Meal will be held on May 11 at 6 PM. The menu will be BBQ, baked beans, slaw, chips and dessert. ($5 per person or $15 per family) There will be a QR code in Sunday’s Edifier, sign-up sheet at the Sign-up Desk (starting Wednesday evening), or you may call the church office. Deadline to sign up is Sunday, May 8th.
Join us for Food for Thought on Tuesday, May 10. Our speaker will be Jeff Keele of the Waverly Church of Christ. The menu will be chicken broccoli casserole, rice, cranberry salad and dessert. The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting large trash bags during the month of May. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
