We extend our sympathy to Elmer Dunn in the loss of his daughter, Nancy Lynn Dunn. Funeral services were held yesterday at Taylor Funeral Home. Nancy Lynn was also the first cousin to Betty Ruth Gray.
Prayers are requested for:
- Lorene Wright, (mother of Lori Teal) who will undergo hip replacement surgery today at Centennial Medical Center
- Landon Reynolds, (son of Jim & Ruby Reynolds) who is recovering from bypass surgery at the VA Hospital in Nashville
- Doug Watkins, (friend of Brandy Scruggs) who has a brain tumor and will undergo surgery on Thursday
- Johnny Oliphant, who is undergoing cancer treatments

There will be a young adult devotional and dinner on Sunday evening, May 20 at the home of Steve and Pam Baggett. (122 Redbud Drive, Dickson) Please let Mark Gooch know if you plan to attend.
Please note that the Thursday Ladies Bible Study will meet off site on May 17th. Please call Sherrie Spencer for location and details. This will be the last meeting for this class until August 9.
Begin making plans for our upcoming One Heart group meetings which will be held Sunday, May 20 following our evening worship assembly. If you haven’t been connected to a One Heart group, please call the church office (615-446-2909).
Young Men’s Leadership Camp and Young Ladies’ Spiritual Growth Camp applications are available at the Welcome Center. Camp will begin Sunday, June 3 through Wednesday, June 6.
Next Sunday, May 20, Walnut Street will celebrate Server Appreciation Day. If you plan to eat out following Bible class on Sunday, special Server Appreciation Day cards will be available for you to pick up and take with you to the restaurant of your choice.
College Secret Pal Reveal will be Sunday, May 20 at 5 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Pals and students, please contact Kim Long if you are not able to attend.
