- Jennie McLay, who responded to the invitation Sunday morning to share good news and to request prayers for an upcoming test
- Steve Brown, (brother of Paul Brown) who remains in the hospital following two surgeries for a broken neck

Dining Out Together Sisters (D.O.T.S) is back! All ladies are invited to a cookout on Thursday, June 16 at 6:30 PM at the home of Janie Jones (1040 Shelton Road in Charlotte). Menu is hamburgers, baked beans, chips and dessert. Cost is $8 per person, which must be paid at time of sign up. Contact Janie Jones at 615-308-1871 by June 10.
Join us this Sunday, June 5 to hear Bruce McLarty speak at our morning worship service, Bible class and then again at the 6 PM service. (He will also speak at the youth devotional following the evening service) Classes 7th grade through adult will remain in the auditorium for Bible class.
Our Sunday adult classes will be providing meals for our Young Men’s Leadership Camp and Young Ladies’ Spiritual Growth Camps. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday, June 6: 8 AM class and Auditorium class
- Tuesday, June 7: rooms 406 and 410
- Wednesday, June 8: Loft, chapel, room 412 and room 105
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting large trash bags during the month of May. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
