We extend our sympathy to Lynwood Smith and family in the loss of his wife, Vonnette Smith, who passed away Sunday. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 AM until the time of the funeral service at 10:45 at the Davis-Callahan Funeral Home in Morris, IL.
We extend our sympathy to Lori Teal in loss of her step-father, Ronnie Wright, who passed away. Funeral services were held Monday at Harpeth Memorial Garden.
Prayers have been requested for:
- Hilda Hankins, (mother of Jennifer Holland) who is recovering from a fall
- David Porter, who is in Vanderbilt Hospital with a blood infection
- Allison Kruse, who is recovering from total knee replacement surgery
- Beverly Pounds, (mother of Mike Yates) who is at home recovering from stent surgery
- Danielle Boller and Mason Boller, (granddaughter and great grandson of JC Tidwell) who have Covid
- Mark O’Neal, who is recovering from back surgery
- Frank Luther, who will undergo hip replacement surgery this week

Walnut Street has six guests living in our Mission Homes if you would like to send them a Christmas card. In the Women’s house located at 206 East Walnut Street we have Virginia Loughin (she has a 3-year-old and a 14-year-old), Mittchelle Matano and Dana Halliburton. In the Men’s house located at 307 East Chestnut Street we have Chip McCormick, Anthony Delk and Dwight Watson.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting toilet tissue & laundry detergent the month of December. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
