We extend our sympathy to Billy Shelton in the loss of his brother, Jack Shelton, who passed away Thursday. Graveside services were held Monday at the Rock Church Cemetery.
We extend our sympathy to Shirley Daniel (long-time Walnut Street child care employee) in the loss of her brother, Paul Harrell. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1-8 PM and Friday from 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 1 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.

• Shonda Stivers, (daughter of Wayne Heflin) who is recovering from injuries sustained in a recent car accident
• Joan Tidwell, (friend of Kerry and Andrea Hall) who is under hospice care
• Sharon Webster, who has health issues

Ladies, mark your calendar for the annual Mother Daughter Banquet 2019 on Monday, August 12 in the Gathering Room. Photos will begin at 5:30 PM and meal and program at 6:00 PM. Cost is $14 for adults, $7 for girls age 6-12 and girls 5 and under are free. You may sign up for this event at the sign-up desk or call the church office. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, August 8th at 9 AM (please note the new date for this event that has previously been held in May)
August’s items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are small Bibles (not just a NT) and Band-Aids. These items will be added to backpacks for the homeless in our community. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
