- Gary Clardy, who will see a neurosurgeon on August 10 regarding back pain
- Kimberly Fowlkes, who broke a bone in her foot and will wear a boot
- Charlie Daniel, who has covid
- Ken Dickerson, (father of Kyle Dickerson) who received good results from tests
- Jeff Yates, (brother of Mike Yates) who is recovering from hip replacement surgery

Join us tonight following Bible classes (lower Gathering Room) for a reception honoring our interns, Joshua Grooms and Tyler Harris. They will be heading back to school for their fall semester.
Make plans to attend Walnut Street’s annual Mother-Daughter Banquet to be held Monday, August 8th. Pictures will be taken from 5-5:15 PM and dinner will begin at 6 PM. Senior girls and their moms will speak. Sign up Wednesday evening in the Gathering Room. Cost is $10 for ages 6-12 and $15 for adults. (no charge for children under 5) If you are a senior girl (or mom of a senior) please call Sherrie Spencer for more details.
This coming Sunday, August 7, Bruce McLarty will speak at 9 AM and will teach Bible class for everyone 7th grade and up. David Shannon will speak at our 6 PM assembly. Be sure to check out the FHU Presidential Trek in our parking lot following worship service.
The Waverly Church of Christ is in need of assistance with a Habitat for Humanity home build for one of their church families. If you are able to help, please call Becky Keele at 931-296-3213.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting men’s t-shirts (all sizes) during the month of August. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
