We extend our sympathy to Brian Richardson and family in the loss of his mother, Kathy Richardson, who passed Sunday. Visitation will be held Friday from 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 2 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Jason Bishop in the loss of his grandmother, Polly Bishop, who passed away Saturday. A graveside service was held yesterday at McElhiney Cemetery.
We wish to congratulate Barry & Christie Piland on the birth of their grandson, Bret Hayes Piland, who was born Sunday. Proud parents are Matt & Lacey Piland and proud great grandparents are Jimmy & Sara Cagle.
Congratulations to Ridge Southerland, who was baptized Sunday. Ridge is the son of Ken and Christie Southerland and grandson of Jean Southerland.
Congratulations to Ava Lastovka, who was baptized Monday. Ava is the daughter of Chad & Maria Lastovka and the granddaughter of Dale and Martha Duke.

- Fred Mayberry, who will have a consultation today with a heart-transplant specialist
- Guy Spann, (father of Tim Spann) who will begin dialysis this week
- Donna Fletcher, (sister of Jeanette Shouse) who is recovering from successful bypass surgery
- Alex Hoffmann, who will undergo additional tests this week
- Stella Nicks, (member of the Midway Church of Christ) who has been placed on hospice care

The White Bluff Church of Christ Spring Sing will take place Sunday, April 24 at 6 PM. In support of our brethren at White Bluff, we will not have our regular evening service at the Walnut Street building. Instead, our shepherds are requesting that we all worship with the White Bluff congregation for Spring Sing at 6 PM.
All ladies are invited to a come-and-go bridal shower honoring Savannah Richardson, bride-elect of Will Harmon (son of Robby & Shawn Harmon), on Sunday, April 24 from 1-2:30 PM in the Gathering Room. Savannah is registered at Target, Moss and Embers, Pottery Barn, and Williams Sonoma. Hosted by Andrea Beaubien’s shower team.
There will be a security team orientation for new members (or any current members interested in participating) on Sunday, April 24 at 5 PM in the chapel.
Parents of 2022 high school graduates: please send photos of your senior to Shawn at sharmon@wscoc.com. (include post-graduation plans) We would also love to celebrate our college graduates! If you graduated from college in December of 2021, or will graduate this spring, please send a photo and the name of your university/technical school and degree. The deadline to provide photos is Friday, April 22.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting plastic hangers during the month of April. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
