We extend our sympathy to Tim Spann and Kimberly McDonough in the loss of their father, Guy Spann, who passed away Sunday. Visitation will be held Friday from 3-8 PM at Taylor Funeral Home, and again Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM here at Walnut Street. He was the grandfather of Mitch Spann and Bonnie Spann.

- Christine Hall, who will undergo surgery today
- Jeanette Shouse, who will undergo knee replacement surgery Wednesday
- Mike Plunkett, who will undergo spinal fusion surgery Wednesday
- Mary Cobb, who is recovering from cataract surgery; will undergo surgery on her other eye Wednesday
- Larry Garton, who has returned home from the hospital
- Jennifer Street, who is home recovering from surgery for a broken ankle
- Kim Fowlkes, who will have a doctor’s appointment this week
- Debbie Meacham, (sister of Barbara Beasley) who is recovering from Covid

Our shepherds have requested that everyone 14 years and older take the survey that was presented Sunday morning. (the survey is currently available by QR code, paper copies at the Welcome Center, or the following link) The survey is now open and will remain open until Sunday, June 26 at midnight.
We have been made aware of a great need for maternity clothing at the Dickson County Help Center. If you have maternity clothing that you could donate, please drop those items off to their location at 103 W. College Street.
Bible Bowl sign-up has begun! All kindergarten through 12th graders are encouraged to participate. Walnut Street always has a great team…and always has a great time! You can learn more about Bible Bowl at sycamorebiblebowl.com.

Qualifications are as follows: four-year degree in education, early childhood (or other relevant curriculum), 5 + years of experience that includes responsibility for managing and supervising a caregiving or educational service and must be a member of the church of Christ.
Our preschool has an opening for a teacher for our 4 and 5-year-old classes that meet Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. The typical work schedule is 8 AM to 2 PM and follows the Dickson County School calendar. We also have an opening for a full-time preschool assistant. The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting small tools during the month of June. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
