We extend our sympathy to Susan Snow and family in the loss of her husband, Larry Snow, who passed away Wednesday. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 PM until the time of the funeral at 4 PM. All will be held at Walnut Street.
We extend our sympathy to Daniel Stone and family in the loss of his father, Kenneth Stone, who passed Sunday morning. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-7 PM and Friday from 12 noon until the time of service at 1 PM at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
We extend our sympathy to Fred Mayberry and family in the loss of his cousin, Mac Breece, who passed away Sunday morning. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
Prayers have been requested for:
- Wade Daniel, who will undergo back surgery on Friday
- Gary Clardy, who has covid
- Chandler Rowe, (friend of the Turbeville, Harmon and Greer families) who will undergo surgery Wednesday
- Steve Leach, who continues to suffer with covid
- Sandra Stone, (mother of Daniel Stone) who has covid

Walnut Street’s annual Indoor Picnic will be held Sunday, February 20. Menu will be hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by our fellowship ministry. A QR code and additional details will be available in Sunday’s Edifier.
All ladies are invited to a drive-by bridal shower honoring Hannah Gillson, bride-elect of John Allen Thomas, on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Hannah is registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Target and Amazon. She is the daughter of J.T. and Suzanne Gillson.
Walnut Street’s food pantry is in need of the following items: instant oatmeal packets, canned chicken, beef stew, canned carrots and Jiffy cornbread mix.

The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting toilet paper or paper towels during the month of February. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
