We extend our sympathy to James and Becky Hagewood in the loss of James’ mother, Marsha Dickerson. Visitation will be held today from 12 until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.

The Young Adult Christmas party will be held Friday, December 29 in the Loft.  Text Mark Gooch at 615-714-6515 to sign up, or sign up on the group’s Facebook page. There will be a prize for the best Christmas sweater.

A crafting group will begin meeting each 3rd Tuesday from 9 AM to 2 PM in the Loft.  This group will work on card making, needlework, quilting, etc.  The first meeting will take place on January 16 and an RSVP is needed for lunch.  Please call 615-446-5854 or 615-446-4041 if you are interested.

Walnut Streets New Pictorial Directory- The following sign-up dates are December 20, 24, 27, 31, and January 3.  Pictures will begin on January 4. You can sign-up starting this Sunday in the Gathering Room. Any questions or if you would like to help please contact Troy Williams.

Everyone is invited to join in a night of Christmas caroling tonight at 5:30 PM. This group will meet in the kitchen and will be coordinated by Mark O’Neal. Get your Santa hats and bells ready!

Walnut Street’s Youth will also host their annual caroling event for 6th grades through college age on Monday, December 18. This group will meet in the Loft at 6 PM. Note date change.

 All ladies are invited to participate in a Ladies’ Self Defense Class on Monday, January 8 at 6:30 PM.  This class will be held at the Renaissance Center. Sign up in the Gathering Room

The Alzheimer’s Support Group will not be meeting on December 24.

 53rd Sunday Schedule

 In preparation for our 53rd Sunday special contribution, a 10-day “One More Lord’s Day to Glorify God” devotional booklet was distributed Sunday morning.  The devotionals are to begin on Thursday, December 21.  If you did not receive a copy, please pick one up at the Information Booth.

 Be much in prayer about our special 53rd Sunday offering to pay for our Counseling Building. All funds contributed on this day will go for this purpose.
