We extend our sympathy to Steve Baggett and family in the loss of his sister-in-law, Margaret Baggett, who passed away Monday evening. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
Prayers have been requested for:
- Mavis Ragan, recovering from surgery for a fractured hip
- JC Tidwell, who has been admitted to Horizon with Covid
- Paul Brown, who is undergoing tests for heart issues
- Lee Bogus, (cousin of Debbie Henderson) who has been hospitalized and is too weak to take chemo treatments
Sunday, August 28 we will be a special opportunity to financially assist with eastern Kentucky flood relief and the Ukrainian refugee family discussed by Gaylan Brown and Jonah Marlin this past Sunday. Please make these offerings by check or cash. To contribute by check, please identify on each check which effort you are supporting. There will be labeled baskets at the Welcome Center.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting men’s t-shirts (all sizes) during the month of August. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
