We extend our sympathy to Dan Brown and family in the loss of his mother, Rosemary Brown who passed away Sunday afternoon. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 29 at 2 PM here at Walnut Street.  Visitation will be held August 29 from 11 AM to 2 PM, also at Walnut Street.

We extend our sympathy to Marty Spann in the loss of her sister, Christy Perry, who passed away Thursday. Funeral services were held yesterday in Gallatin, TN.

Mark you calendar for a special contribution to benefit Leatherwood Bible Camp on Sunday, December 30.  Leatherwood is undergoing a major construction project to build a new dining hall.  Look for more details in the coming weeks.

It’s college time again! Secret Pals are needed for the 2018-2019 school year for Walnut Street students in college.  You can be a pal to a student of your choice OR you and a friend can be a pal for a student.  (It is sometimes easier if you have a pal partner.) Walnut Street’s Wednesday Morning Bible Class is hosting a meet and greet on Wednesday, August 15 from 10-11 AM, to kick off their fall session. It will take place in room 406. Contact Judy Hinson for more information.
