We extend our sympathy to Bryan McAlister and his family in the loss of his brother, RW McAlister. Funeral services were held Monday at Anna Church of Christ in Anna IL.

We extend our sympathy to Snow Tidwell in the loss of this wife, Eula Tidwell, who passed away Sunday, October 3. Visitation will be held Saturday from 4-8 PM and Sunday from 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.  She was the grandmother of Chris Hedge and great grandmother of Charlie and Sophie Hedge.

We extend our sympathy to Jerry Grosvenor in the loss of his cousin, Zach Cochrane, who passed away Friday, October 8.

Be looking for a QR code in Sunday’s Edifier to sign up for this month’s Wednesday Express Meal on October 20. On the menu will be BBQ chicken, baked potato, corn and dessert.  Cost is $5 per person or $15 per family. Deadline to sign up is Sunday, October 17.

Just a reminder that all adult classes are invited to meet in the auditorium for Wednesday night classes for the following dates:  October 20, 27 and November 3. This week’s lesson is Dealing with the Loss of an Adult Child and will be taught by Steve Baggett.

The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting small tools and flashlights during the month of October. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community.  Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
