We wish to congratulate Steven and Chelsea Frick who were baptized Saturday.
We extend our sympathy to Roy and Marie Burkhart in the loss of Marie’s sister, Sybil Watson. Funeral services were held Monday in Clarksville. She was the aunt of Pam Baggett and Sandra Warf.
We extend our sympathy to Susan Snow and family in the loss of her aunt, Virginia Neill, who passed away last Wednesday. Funeral services were held Monday in Magnolia, AR.
Prayers are requested for:
- Hazel Lyell, who has been diagnosed with a mass on her Pancreas and has been placed under Hospice Care; short visits or cards would be appreciated
- Janice Walker, (daughter of Rosemary Brown) who will undergo surgery Friday in Augusta, GA
- Ava White, who has been admitted to Horizon Medical Center
- Sandy Mathis, (mother of Shawn Harmon) who has an appointment Friday at Mayo Clinic and is undergoing tests
- Willie Pendergrass, who is at St. Thomas Mid Town recovering from surgery
- Mary Rachel Leach, who received good results from Monday’s procedure
- Gwynn Kerns, who is in NHC for rehab
- Sean Moore, who has returned to the VA Hospital in Nashville with an infection

Walnut Streets New Pictorial Directory- The following sign-up dates are December 17, 20, 24, 27, 31, and January 3. Pictures will begin on January 4. You can sign-up starting this Sunday in the Gathering Room. Any questions or if you would like to help please contact Troy Williams.
The Homebuilders Group will host a Santa’s Workshop activity on Sunday, December 17 in the Fellowship Hall following evening worship service. There will be ornament crafts which will be delivered to area nursing homes and police/fire department, photos with Santa and refreshments. Sign up in the Gathering Room to bring refreshments.
Mark your calendars Senior Ministry for a Holiday Dinner on Monday, December 18 at 6 PM; sign-up sheets are in the Gathering Room.
Everyone is invited to join in a night of Christmas caroling on Tuesday, December 19 at 5:30 PM. This group will meet in the kitchen and will be coordinated by Mark O’Neal. Get your Santa hats and bells ready!
Walnut Street’s Youth will also host their annual caroling event for 6th grades through college age on Monday, December 18. This group will meet in the Loft at 6 PM. Note date change.
All ladies are invited to participate in a Ladies’ Self Defense Class on Monday, January 8 at 6:30 PM. This class will be held at the Renaissance Center. Sign up in the Gathering Room
