The Alzheimer’s/Dementia Support Group will meet Sunday at 4:30 PM in room 101. This group meets every 4th Sunday.
All ladies are invited to attend the Thursday ladies Bible study on August 30 (9 AM to noon) as they kick off their fall session with a Bible lesson and add-a-dish lunch. (current members provide lunch) Enter through the Loft side door/ramp. This group is studying The Living Stones by Casandra Martin.
Men, mark your calendars for the upcoming Men’s Fall Retreat, September 14-15. This year’s speaker will be John Pippin from Baxter Church of Christ. The cost is $29 per person which includes lodging (attendees bring bedding) for the evening and 3 meals. The location is Camp Ridgedale at 1470 Bear Creek Rd., Vanleer, TN. Sign up in the gathering room.
All 3rd-5th graders are invited to a CIA movie day on September 9 from 1-3:15 PM in the Youth Loft.
It’s college time again! Secret Pals are needed for the 2018-2019 school year for Walnut Street students in college. You can be a pal to a student of your choice OR you and a friend can be a pal for a student. (It is sometimes easier if you have a pal partner.) If you are interested in being a pal, please find the Secret Pal page at the sign-up desk.
Begin making plans for our upcoming One Heart group meetings which will be held this Sunday, August 26 following our evening worship assembly. If you haven’t been connected to a One Heart group, please contact the church office (615-446-2909).
