- Ted Williams, who has tested positive for Covid
- Jim Tuggle, who is having some issues with medication
- Timmy Sensing, (friend of Lennon & Tasha Spicer) who has stage four colon cancer
- Brad Story, (friend of many at Walnut Street) who is recovering from open-heart surgery at home
- Alex Hoffmann, (son of Kimberly Fowlkes) who will begin radiation treatments today for lymphoma
Other Announcements:
Make plans to attend our upcoming 5th Sunday Fellowship on Sunday, May 29, we will enjoy a 5th Sunday service at 9 AM, 10:15 Bible classes, followed by a add-a-dish meal. We will conclude our day with a mid-day service.
A Singing Class will begin Wednesday, May 25 in the chapel. This class will be lead by Chip Haslam, Steve Leach and Mark O’Neal.
Walnut Street’s Food Pantry is in need of the following items: spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, dry cereal, instant oatmeal packets and crackers.
All upcoming 6th graders are invited to a dinner for upcoming 6th graders and their families on Tuesday, May 24 at 6:30 PM in the Loft. Hope to see you at this event!
Mark your calendars for Walnut Street’s Annual Young Men’s Leadership Camp and Young Ladies’ Spiritual Growth Day Camp to be held Sunday, June 5th through Wednesday, June 8th. Applications are available at the Welcome Center.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting large trash bags during the month of May. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
