We extend our sympathy to Susan Snow and family in the loss of her husband, Larry Snow, who passed away Wednesday. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 PM until the time of the funeral at 4 PM. All will be held at Walnut Street.
We extend our sympathy to Daniel Stone and family in the loss of his father, Kenneth Stone, who passed Sunday morning. Arrangements are not known at this time.
Prayers have been requested for:
- Sandra Stone, (mother of Daniel Stone) who has covid
- Gary Clardy, who has covid
- Steve Leach, who continues to suffer with covid
Other Announcements:
All ladies are invited to a drive-by bridal shower honoring Hannah Gillson, bride-elect of John Allen Thomas, on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Hannah is registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Target and Amazon. She is the daughter of J.T. and Suzanne Gillson.
Walnut Street’s food pantry is in need of the following items: instant oatmeal packets, canned chicken, beef stew, canned carrots and Jiffy cornbread mix.
Walnut Street will participate in a Habitat for Humanity Build on Saturday, February 26. See Mike Yates or Kerry Hinson for more details.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting toilet paper or paper towels during the month of February. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
