We extend our sympathy to B.J. Garton and family in the loss of his mother, Irene Garton, who passed away Saturday. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2:30-8 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 2 PM at Dickson Funeral Home. She was the aunt of Tina Littleton and the mother of Betty Vetter (friend of many at Walnut Street)

We extend our sympathy to Juanita Mitchell in the loss of her husband, Robert Mitchell. Funeral services were held Saturday at Taylor Funeral Home.

We extend our sympathy to Virginia Littleton and family in the loss of her husband, J.D. Littleton. A graveside service was held Saturday at McElhiney Cemetery. He was the father of Karl Littleton.

December’s items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are gift cards for a meal from a restaurant close to the interstate. These will be added to backpacks for the homeless in our community. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.

The Senior Ministry will host their Annual Holiday Banquet on Monday, December 16 at 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Sign up in the Gathering no later than Wednesday, December 11.

The Homebuilders Group are hosting an Adopt-a-Child for Christmas! Drop off for items will be at the Homebuilders Christmas Party on December 14th, 3:00-5:00 in the loft, where we are asking that you bring your favorite Christmas cookie/dessert, and your donated items. There will be ornament decorating and movie. If you have questions, please contact Joseph or Jamie Brown.

Join us Sunday for “When Life Happens…Finding Christ’s Peace in Treacherous Seas”. This series will be held from 5-6:30 PM each Sunday through December 22. This week’s lesson for December 8 is entitled “Who’s Raising These Kids? Parenting the Next Generation”.
