Beginning December 1, 2019, “Manna in the Morning” will no longer meet at 6am. Each Sunday in November we hosted the 6 am service for any who might desire or benefit from an early morning gathering, particularly targeting those in lines of work whose schedules are of 12-hour shifts beginning at 7am. The turnout consisted of Walnut Street members, but none who were the targeted “shift workers.” Should the need or population arise in the future to be served by an earlier worship service, the opportunity to meet that need will be addressed accordingly. Please join us at 9 am and 5 pm for worship through the month of December.

Join us for Food for Thought Tuesday, December 10 at 12 noon. Our speaker will be Bryan McAlister. Please RSVP to the church office at 615-446-2909 or email Pamela at Pmassie@wscoc.com by December 6.

Please note that there will not be a Wednesday Express Meal in December.

Make a note of a new Sunday morning Bible class – 1, 2, & 3 John in the chapel taught by Preston Thompson beginning Sunday, December 8.

We are looking for volunteers to assist our Bible Hour teams in managing the extended time of our Sunday evening series. If you would be willing to help for 15 to 30 minutes please call the office at 446.2909. Thank you.

The Senior Ministry will host their Annual Holiday Banquet on Monday, December 16 at 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Sign up in the Gathering Room starting Wednesday. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, December 11.
