We extend our sympathy to Darby Cardona and family in the loss of her brother, Roy McCaslin, who passed away Saturday. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28 from 4-8 PM and Wednesday morning from 9-10:15 at Taylor Funeral Home. There will be a graveside funeral service at 11 AM at Bon Aqua Church of Christ Cemetery.
We extend our sympathy to Dan Brown and family in the loss of his mother, Rosemary Brown. Visitation and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 29 from 11 AM until the time of funeral service at 2 PM here at Walnut Street.

- Barbara Frazier, (mother of Meagan Grosvenor) who is recovering at home from Open Heart surgery
- Rhonda Goad, (daughter-n-law of Bernice Goad) who is undergoing treatments for cancer
- Robin Scarlett, (friend of Brian & Meg Richardson) who has colon cancer
- Cale Baggett, (grandson of Dorinda Wilson) who will undergo scans on Wednesday

All ladies are invited to attend the Thursday ladies Bible study on August 30 (9 AM to noon) as they kick off their fall session with a Bible lesson and add-a-dish lunch. (current members provide lunch) Enter through the Loft side door/ramp. This group is studying The Living Stones by Casandra Martin.
Men, mark your calendars for the upcoming Men’s Fall Retreat, September 14-15. This year’s speaker will be John Pippin from Baxter Church of Christ. The cost is $29 per person which includes lodging (attendees bring bedding) for the evening and 3 meals. The location is Camp Ridgedale at 1470 Bear Creek Rd., Vanleer, TN. All 3rd-5th graders are invited to a CIA movie day on September 9 from 1-3:15 PM in the Youth Loft.
