We extend our sympathy to Joe Hughes in the loss of his sister-in-law, Chris Sullivan. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. She was the aunt of Jan Mayberry.
Prayers have been requested for:
- Greg Donegan, who is recovering from stent surgery; doing well
- Jeanette Shouse, who is recovering from knee replacement surgery
- LuElla Lewis, who is recovering from back surgery
- Gracie Davis, (granddaughter of Kay Thompson) who will undergo outpatient surgery on October 6
- Edna Turbeville, (mother of Phil Turbeville and grandmother of Joey Turbeville) who is recovering from surgery at Horizon
- Mary Mangrum, (regular attendee at Walnut Street) who will undergo surgery Monday
- Shane Cobb, (son of Mary Cobb) who is recovering from stent surgery
It’s Flu Shot time again! Rachel Donegan will provide flu shots on Friday, September 23 from 9-11 AM in our library. (ages 14 and older) Please bring your insurance card and wear loose clothing that is accessible for a shot.
Join us for a bridal shower honoring Ashton Perez, bride-elect of Austin Meyn on tomorrow from 10-11:30 AM. Ashton is registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Crate and Barrel, and Pottery Barn. The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting sheets and pillowcases (twin or queen) during the month of September. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
