We extend our sympathy to the family of Elmer Dunn, who passed away Saturday. Funeral services were held Tuesday here at Walnut Street.
Congratulations to Wade & Kimberly Daniel on the birth of their granddaughter Sutton Jane Daniel, who was born Sunday, October 20. Proud parents are Trevor & Courtney Daniel.

• Hardeman Ragan, who is at home recovering from surgery for a broken left wrist and a broken right arm

• Virginia Petty, who underwent additional surgery on Monday and has returned home
• Helen Williams, (sister of Eloyce Reed) who is in St. Thomas West with congestive heart failure
• Brian Williams, (son of Margaret Williams) who is awaiting a transplant donor
• Fred Mayberry, who received a good report from his CT scan and has returned home
• Sandy Clinton and Timothy Allmon, who responded Sunday morning requesting prayers
• Damien Singh, Zaidie Overcast and Willow Norfleet, (grandchildren of Joe and Linda Rushing) who are ill
• Cale Baggett, who received good results from his scans
• Sharon Webster, who had emergency surgery Saturday for an infection in her thigh (Tucson Medical Center, room 429, 5301 E Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712)

The Senior Ministry will enjoy an outing to the Montgomery Bell State Park Restaurant on Monday, November 4 at 6 PM. Sign up in the Gathering Room.
Please note the following service time adjustments: Beginning Sunday, November 3 an early worship assembly, “Manna in The Morning”, will be offered at 6 AM in the chapel. Also, beginning Wednesday, November 6 our evening Bible study will be held at 6:30 PM.
Our next Food for Thought is Tuesday, November 12 at 12 noon. This year we will celebrate and recognize the service of all U.S. military veterans at this gathering. Please invite the veterans you know to join us for a lunch in their honor. Veterans and all first- time guests eat for free. Our speaker will be Walter Crafton, LTC USA (Ret.) Please RSVP with your number attending no later than Friday, November 8.
Join us Sunday for “When Life Happens…Finding Christ’s Peace in Treacherous Seas”. If you would like to have a postcard invitation to share with a friend, they are available in the church office as well as the Welcome Center. This series will be held from 5-6:30 PM each Sunday through December 22. This week’s lesson is entitled “Addressing Anxiety and Depression”.
