This coming Sunday, June 7, we will be meeting at two worship times. The 9 AM assembly is for the Family Life Groups led by: Brown, Brunett, Corlew, Harmon, Ragan, and Williams. The 11 AM assembly is for the Family Life Groups led by Cathey, Caudill, Hogue, Spann, and Spencer. Please only attend the service time dedicated to your specific Family Life Group. If you are unable to attend either of these times, the 9 AM service will continue to be streamed live. If you need information about your family life group, please call the church office. In addition to these two morning assemblies, we will also resume our evening worship at 6 PM. Everyone is invited to attend this coming Sunday evening for worship, as we will also recognize our 2020 graduating seniors. The following week, June 14, we will return to one morning worship assembly at 9 AM.

Starting this Sunday, June 7, at 10 am we will begin posting a new on-line resource for Walnut Street children. The title is “Bible Stories” and can actually be enjoyed by the whole family. “Bible Stories” features an artist, our own Rachel Hedge, creating a picture while a Bible story is shared. The videos vary in length from about 10 to 20 minutes and provide an opportunity for our children to have their own weekly Bible lesson. The first series is The Life of Christ produced by StudyJesus.com. The videos will post on Facebook and WSCOC.com and can be viewed at your convenience. Be watching for Bible Stories this Sunday.

Bud Lambert continues to meet with his clients online. The counseling office can be reached at 615-975-2395.

Reading for today: It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) 65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” John 6:63-5 (His Life Devotional Book page 132)
