We extend our sympathy to Jason Bishop and family in the loss of his grandfather, Ned Southerland, who passed away Thursday. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.  He was the uncle of Ken Southerland.

 We extend our sympathy to Jean Gooch in the loss of her grandson, Brandon Gooch, who passed away Saturday, January 19. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26 from 12 PM until the time of the funeral service at 4 PM at Taylor Funeral Home. Brandon was also the nephew of Lori Whitaker and Mark & Stephanie Gooch.

If you were not able to sign up for tonight’s Ladies’ Winter Fellowship, it’s not too late to attend.  We’d love to have you!  Bring your favorite finger food and join us at 6 PM.

Reminder: On Sunday, February 3 our new Family Life Groups will meet during Bible Class hour.  You will be given all of the information about your group and location of your group meeting that morning.  Classes will be provided for children 3rd grade and below by volunteers so that our regular Bible class teachers will be able to participate in their Family Life Group meetings.

Make plans to attend Walnut Street’s annual Indoor Picnic on Sunday, February 10.  Look for sign-up sheets in all adult Bible classes and at the sign-up desk this Sunday morning.

All 3rd-5th graders are invited to join the CIA group for a trip to the movies, this Saturday January 26.  The group will see The Kid Who Would Be King at the Roxy. We will meet at the church office door at 11:00 AM and return at 3:00 PM. Please find the sign-up sheet in the Gathering Room.

Do you have a friend or loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia?  Make plans to attend the Alzheimer’s Support Group on Sunday, January 27 at 4:30 PM in room 101. This group meets every 4th Sunday.

Sign up in the Gathering Room for our upcoming Ladies’ Retreat at Camp Benson, scheduled for Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2.
