We extend our sympathy to the family of Luanne Overton who passed away last night. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time. She was the niece of Anne Crafton and Gilbert Lankford.
We extend our sympathy to the family of Katie Sue Dawson who passed away Wednesday. She was a member at Water Street and friend of many at Walnut Street.
Prayers are requested for:
• Roy Burkhart, who has been placed under hospice care
• Steve Moore, who will undergo tests on Monday
• Steve Leach, who will undergo a special treatment for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (not chemo); the prognosis is very good but there will be side effects
• Patricia Galloway, (step-mother of Kevin Galloway) who has leukemia and has been placed under hospice care
• Virginia Petty, who has returned to NHC (room 219)
• Al Peak, (brother-in-law of former member Dawn Shirey) who has been taken to the ER at Vanderbilt Medical Center
• Bo & Charlie Marvin, (newborn grandsons of Tommy and Cynthia Marvin, sons of Rob & Misty Marvin) who remain at Centennial Hospital
• Whitney Qualls, who is recovering from kidney stone surgery
• Brian Williams, (son of Margaret Williams) who is recovering from a kidney transplant

January’s Food for Thought luncheon will be held Tuesday, January 14. Please be sure to call the church office if you would like to attend; the deadline to sign up is Friday, January 10. The speaker will be Larry Snow.
Ladies, mark your calendars for the 2020 Winter Ladies’ Fellowship tonight at 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Menu will be Taco Salad. Contact person for this quarter is Robyn Lampley.
Please note that our Sunday evening worship service will continue at 5 PM until Daylight Savings time begins on Sunday, March 8.

Walnut Street’s annual New Parent Recognition will be held this Sunday at 5 PM. If you had a baby in 2019, please contact the church office to provide name and date of birth. (if you haven’t already done so)
Teachers of Bible classes ages 3 years to 3rd grade are asked to attend a meeting on Saturday, January 11 from 9-10:30 AM in room 406.
