We extend our sympathy to Brandon King in the loss of his father, Bobby Lynn King. Funeral Services were held Monday, August 3 in Alamo, TN.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 10 at noon for Ronald Horsley, the brother of Mark Horsley, who passed away July 27. The service will be held at the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.

Congratulations to Greg and Martha Vaughn on the birth of their grandson, Colton Gene Vaughn who was born Tuesday. Proud parents are Adam and Jordan Vaughn.

• Ruby Barnhill, who has returned home from the hospital; recovering from colitis

• Margaret Fielder, who fell and broke her elbow and is waiting on a CT scan of her knee
• Jim and Beth Greene, who have tested positive for Covid-19. Beth’s mom, Ruth Howell; brother, Howard Howell; and sister-in-law, Tempee Howell have also tested positive
• Earl Privitt, (grandfather of Heather Mangrum) who fell and is unresponsive; has been hospitalized in Memphis
• For our parents, young people, students, educators, administration, and school year safety
• Tricia Sesler, (friend of Shawn Harmon) who is recovering from surgery
• Wanda Horsley, (sister-in-law of Mark Horsley) who has tested positive for Covid-19
• Linda Lambert, (mother of Heather Mangrum) who will undergo an epidural procedure

The 2020 start to a new school year will be unique in its launch. We’re collecting liquid hand soap, hand sanitizer, and empty spray bottle (new). Look for the collection bins in the Gathering Room or drop your items at the church office by Sunday, August 9th.
Walnut Street’s food pantry is currently in need of peanut butter, mac-and-cheese, carrots, cereal and green peas. As always, thank you for your generosity.
The Golden Deeds ministry is collecting pens or pencils during the month of August. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
