We extend our sympathy to David and Leann Polk in the loss of David’s father, George Polk, who passed away this morning. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
We extend our sympathy to Steve Moore and family in the loss of his father, Jimmy Moore, who passed away Tuesday in Lawrenceburg. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
We extend our sympathy to Carolyn Gray and family in the loss of her sister, Naomi Caldwell, who passed away Tuesday in Lynchburg, VA. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
We extend our sympathy to Danny Williams in the loss of his cousin, Corin Greer, who passed away March 25. Visitation will be today from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM at Dickson Funeral Home.

- Joe Hughes, whose surgery to remove melanoma cancer went well
- Barbara Hughes, who is recovering from bypass surgery at St. Thomas West
- Zachary Scruggs, who is at home with pneumonia
- Mark O’Neal, whose back surgery has been postponed until Monday
- Carol McCallum, who is scheduled to have triple bypass surgery Monday
- Ann Ford, (friend of Larry and Thelma Ryland) who has been diagnosed with cancer
- Montie Caskey, (friend of many at Walnut Street) in the loss of her mom, Treva Caskey, who passed away Wednesday.
- Jerry Stevens, (uncle of Christy Chester) who is at St. Thomas Hospital after suffering a stroke
- Kathy Richardson, (mother of Brian Richardson) who is in Centennial Hospital; partially paralyzed due to cancer

Attention all 3rd-5th graders: the CIA group is hosting a Pizza Party & Game TONIGHT from 6-8 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is asked to bring one of the following pantry food items: peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, or crackers. Those going into 3rd grade in the fall are also invited. Look for a sign-up sheet in the Gathering Room.
Walnut Street’s youth recently returned from their spring trip to Branson, MO. Sunday evening (4/3) following worship service they will enjoy a recap of that trip with a slideshow presentation. Everyone is invited to join them in the auditorium.
Food for Thought is back! Join us Tuesday, April 12 (12 PM) for a delicious lunch and a devotional presented by Bryan McAlister. The menu will be baked chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans and dessert. Cost is $6 per person.
Make plans to participate in Walnut Street’s Day at the Cancer Auction on Thursday, April 14. Reminder that this event has moved to the Tennsco Community Center.
Attention parents of high school seniors: there will be a graduation reception meeting this Sunday, April 3 at 5 PM in room 406.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting laundry detergent/dryer sheets during the month of March. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
