Other Announcements:
Walnut Street’s annual Spring Household Item Giveaway is scheduled for April 29 & 30. Before advertising and making plans, we need to make sure that we have enough people to participate. Please call or text Debra Mitchell at 931-652-9349 if you plan to contribute, or if you are willing to help. If you haven’t participated before, it is a fun event and will not take up much of your time.
Correction: the upcoming graduation reception meeting will be held on Sunday, April 3 at 5 PM in room 406.
Ukraine Relief Effort – Healing Hands International is leading an effort to send relief to Ukrainian refugees who have fled their country into Poland and other countries. They are working with churches of Christ in those areas to coordinate the distribution of funds and supplies. Our shepherds are asking the Walnut Street church family to participate in this effort to assist those who are displaced. There are a couple of ways in which we can participate.
- Ukraine Bucket Challenge: We have more buckets! If you would like to participate, and have not yet picket up a bucket, they will be available in the Gathering Room. If you have already filled your bucket, you may bring it back to the Fellowship (look for the signs close to the kitchen) Deadline to return filled buckets is Sunday, March 27.
- Financial Donation: if you would like to make a financial donation, you may make your check to Walnut Street Church of Christ and place it in the bucket at the Welcome Center on Sunday March 27.
Please prayerfully consider your participation in this effort. It is the prayer of our shepherds that these supplies and funds will exalt Jesus in the lives of those who receive them. If you have questions regarding this effort, please contact anyone in the office.

His Family Devotional Text: 13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, 15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only [a]Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:13-16
