We extend our sympathy to Loretta Wall and family in the loss of her husband, James Wall, (friend of many at Walnut Street) who passed away yesterday.  Funeral arrangements will be handled by Taylor Funeral Home; service will be held at a later date.

Volunteers are appreciated for a clean-up day at the home of Steve and Cindy Leach on Saturday, February 19 at 10 AM. Their property was greatly affected during the recent tornadoes, and they have been left with a lot of debris that needs to be cleaned up.  If you are able to help, please bring items such as leaf rakes, garden rakes, scoop shovels, tarps, wheel barrows, trucks/trailers, etc.  (271 Murrell Road, Dickson, TN) 

Mark your calendar for Walnut Street’s annual Ladies’ Day, to be held Saturday, March 5 in the auditorium.  Registration will begin at 8:15 in the gathering room, along with breakfast snacks and beverages.  Our speaker will be Lori Whitaker.  A sign-up sheet is available in the gathering room.

Walnut Street’s annual Indoor Picnic will be held Sunday, February 20.  Menu will be hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by our fellowship ministry.

Walnut Street will participate in a Habitat for Humanity Build on Saturday, February 26. See Mike Yates or Kerry Hinson for more details.

The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting toilet paper or paper towels during the month of February. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
