We wish to congratulate Corky and Lillie Grigsby on the birth of their granddaughter, Anna Brooke Grigsby, who was born Tuesday. Proud parents are Keith and Laurie Grigsby. Proud siblings are Brayden, Jack and Sawyer.
We extend our sympathy to Jennifer Holland in the loss of her mother, Hilda Hankins, who passed away Thursday. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Spann Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Karen Marlin and family in the loss of her father, James Clinton Ford, who passed away Tuesday. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 PM until the time of the funeral service at 4 PM at the Madison Church of Christ.
We extend our sympathy to Paula Hill and Gwynn Kerns in the loss of their brother, Robert Blalock, who passed away Saturday. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 29 at 2 PM at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray, KY. He was the uncle of Robyn Lampley.

- Tyler Wilkins, who has returned home from the hospital; recovering from a car accident
- Roger and Christy Chester, who have both tested positive for covid
- Kathy Harmon, (mother of Bill Harmon) who is in ICU at Skyline Medical Center; complications following surgery
- James Wall, (friend of many at Walnut Street) who has been admitted to St. Thomas West
- Mary Leach, (mother of Steve Leach) who has covid
- Riley Hendrix and family, (Walnut Street’s missionary in Florida) recovering from covid
- John, (friend of Audrey Cunningham) who has blood cancer
- Vinnie Page, (friend of Audrey Cunningham) who is recovering from surgery
Other Announcements:
January 30th marks our first 5th Sunday of 2022! We will join together for our morning worship service followed by Bible classes for all ages. A QR code will be available this Sunday to sign up for the catered fellowship meal (barbecue and sides). We will conclude our day in worship immediately following the meal. The deadline to sign up for this year’s Ladies’ Retreat has been extended to Sunday, January 23. Don’t miss it! The retreat will be held Friday, January 28 and Saturday, January 29 at Camp Lake Benson. Speaker will be Lesa Cude.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting large trash bags during the month of January. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
