We extend our sympathy to Karen Marlin and family in the loss of her father, James Clinton Ford, who passed away Tuesday. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 PM until the time of the funeral service at 4 PM at the Madison Church of Christ.
We extend our sympathy to Paula Hill and Gwynn Kerns in the loss of their brother, Robert Blalock, who passed away Saturday. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was the uncle of Robyn Lampley.
Prayers have been requested for:
- Tyler Wilkins, who has returned home from the hospital; recovering from a car accident
- Roger and Christy Chester, who have both tested positive for covid
- Hilda Hankins, (mother of Jennifer Holland) who has been placed under hospice care
- Mary Leach, (mother of Steve Leach) who has covid
- Riley Hendrix and family, (Walnut Street’s missionary in Florida) recovering from covid
- John, (friend of Audrey Cunningham) who has blood cancer
- Vinnie Page, (friend of Audrey Cunningham) who is recovering from surgery

The Wednesday 3:30 PM Bible class is planning to meet as scheduled today. If changes are made due to weather, a CareLine update will be sent out.
January 30th marks our first 5th Sunday of 2022! We will join together for our morning worship service followed by Bible classes for all ages. A QR code will be available this Sunday to sign up for the catered fellowship meal (barbecue and sides). We will conclude our day in worship immediately following the meal.
Today is the deadline to sign up for this year’s Ladies’ Retreat. Don’t miss it! The retreat will be held Friday, January 28 and Saturday, January 29 at Camp Lake Benson. Speaker will be Lesa Cude.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting large trash bags during the month of January. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
