We extend our sympathy to the friends and family of Sean Moore, who passed away Wednesday. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
We extend our sympathy to Kerry Hinson in the loss of his sister, Ann Gillam, who passed away Monday in Michigan. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
We extend our sympathy Gary Holland and family in the loss of his sister, Peggy Mullinicks, who passed away Sunday morning. Funeral services were held at the Luff Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN.
We extend our sympathy to the family of Amanda Perry (friend of many at Walnut Street), who passed away Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.

- Curtis Southerland, who is recovering from surgery at Centennial Medical Center (room 4316 at Sarah Cannon Center)
- Jennie McLay, (new member) whose tests have been postponed
- David Porter, who had a procedure to break up a kidney stone
- Renie Raines, (grandmother of Tiffany Cardona) who has been placed on hospice care
- Kathy Richardson, (mother of Brian Richardson) who has a broken vertebra in her neck
- Wayne Heflin, who returned home from the hospital Sunday afternoon
- Colton Chamberlain, (grandson of Dorinda Wilson) who is still in Centennial battling an infection
- Jerry Overbey, (frequent Walnut Street visitor) who is recovering from surgery and would appreciate cards of encouragement; 1637 W. Grab Creek Road, Dickson TN
- Lynne Fussell, (step mother of Keith Fussell, friend of many at Walnut Street) who has been hospitalized at Horizon Medical Center

Walnut Street will participate in Boo Fest on Main again this year! Make plans to join us Saturday, October 30 from 5-7 PM, in the parking lot beside our counseling building. We need lots of candy donations, and those can be brought to the office or the Gathering Room. We would like to borrow one or two Halloween themed inflatables to help decorate the space. Please call or email the church office if you have one of these to loan.

Just a reminder that all adult classes are invited to meet in the auditorium for Wednesday night classes for the following dates: October 27 and November 3. Next week’s lesson is Dealing with the Loss of a Spouse and will be taught by Jeff Jenkins.
The Golden Deeds Ministry is collecting small tools and flashlights during the month of October. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
