Other Announcements:
Our shepherds wish to express their appreciation for the sacrifices many make regularly to financially support the work of the Walnut Street church family. However, with the impact made by Covid-19 this year, our giving has fallen behind the budget requirement. With this in mind, we are all being asked to prayerfully consider our giving during the final days of 2020 and the beginning of 2021. Contributions may be delivered to the church office at any time. Thank you so much for your wonderful generosity!

2020 has been a challenging year! Have you struggled with fear, or know someone who has? What is the biblical basis of integrating fear into our faith? On Tuesdays at 7pm, Steve Moore will be hosting a Zoom class on “Faith, Fear, and Risk.” This will be a participatory study with Bible reading assignments. If interested, e-mail skmoore63@comcast.net and put “I’m in” in the subject line; you will receive a link to the study in the next day or so.

During these days, many of our people are relying on technology, some more than usual. If you need tech support with your tablet, smartphone, laptop, or smart-TV, please email us your question at: askwalnutstreet@wscoc.com. We will do our best to respond personally to your question and help offer support in some way.

Reading for today: “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:1-7 (My Life In Him Devotional Book page 2)
