We wish to congratulate Cindy Williams on the birth of her granddaughter, Adalyn Ryann Williams, who was born Tuesday. Proud parents are Austin and Holly Williams. Proud great grandparents are Corky and Lillie Grigsby.
We extend our sympathy to Linda Hayes in the loss of her son, Josh Hayes. Visitation will be held Friday from 3-8 PM and Saturday from 10-12 PM at Spann Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 PM here at Walnut Street. He was the brother of Abigail McClure.

• Monica Tidwell, (daughter of JC Tidwell) who is recovering from knee surgery
• John Major, (friend of Melissa Curcio) who will undergo triple bypass surgery this week
• Terry James, (friend of Brenda Burgess) who has metastatic cancer
• Mary Vineyard, (mother of Del Vineyard) who is recovering from a broken hip; has returned to NHC

Bible Classes to Resume: Plans are now underway to resume our Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes next Sunday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 23. As details are worked out this week, we will be sharing more news with you. Please be in prayer for all of our teachers and students as we resume this blessed time together as a church family.
Make plans to join us for a Church-Wide Picnic and Outdoor Worship Service Sunday, September 27 at 5 PM, meal at 5 PM & Worship at 6 PM on the War Memorial lawn. Bring a chair and invite a friend!
Flu shots will be available at Walnut Street on Friday, September 25 from 9-11 AM. Please call the church office at 615-446-2909 to make an appointment. (appointments will be required)
Thank you for your support of the addition of our 7 am Sunday morning service which is now open to everyone wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and observing contact precautions when not in the assembly. This expands the opportunities for Sunday worship to three in-person assemblies (7 am, 9 am, 6 pm). Please continue to pray for an end to the pandemic, for those who are weak or sick, and for those who are healthy that they remain so.
Walnut Street’s Food Pantry is in need of the following food items: canned chicken, canned tuna, Vienna sausage, white beans, pinto beans, and crackers.
