The Golden Deeds ministry is collecting gallon storage bags during the month of June. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.
“Bible Stories” is a new digital resource for your family. You can access it at WSCOC.com under the media link or on the church Facebook page. Lesson One: “Before Jesus Was Born” is in the que through the end of this week. Lesson Two: “The Birth of Jesus” will post this coming Sunday morning. Bible Stories contains lessons on the Life of Christ. Each lesson contains a story and a picture drawn by an artist, our own Rachel Hedge, as the story develops. Most lessons are between 10 and 20 minutes and are elementary in presentation. All the Bible Stories can also be seen at StudyJesus.com and click YouTube at the bottom of the homepage. If you have questions or need assistance please call the office or email askwalnutstreet@wscoc.com.”
We are excited to report that Bud Lambert is increasing the number of counseling sessions offered for Walnut Street members. There is still a waiting list, however the wait time will be shorter. Also, please note that sessions with Bud will be online only during the month of June. The counseling office can be reached at 615-975-2395.
During these days, many of our people are relying on technology, some more than usual.
