Communion supplies will be available for you to pick up beginning today through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. When you arrive, call the office {615-446-2909) and we will bring supplies to your vehicle. In addition, Troy Williams and family will be handing out supplies on Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM in the handicap parking lot off of Walnut Street. You may also drop off your contribution at these times.
During these days, many of our people are relying on technology, some more than usual. If you need tech support with your tablet, smartphone, laptop, or smart-TV, please email us your question at: askwalnutst@wscoc.com. We will do our best to respond personally to your question and help offer support in some way.
While our office continues to be closed to visitors, we have resumed our normal working hours. However, in keeping with current health guidelines, our staff is limited. We have posted signs on the building for any visitors that may come our way. We ask that you contact us via phone, text, or email and not come to the building. At present the Child Care is open and can be contacted at 615-441-3410. Your shepherds continue to be available with phone numbers listed in each week’s bulletin. Additionally, Steve (615.587.0468), Bryan (931.994.3525), and Larry (615.481.1669) are available to you. Bob and Alan are readily available to our youth through their established contacts. Our counseling ministry can be contacted through their established contacts.
It is our hope that these temporary measures will insure everyone’s safety while providing the services you need. If you have questions please call. Thank you.
Walnut has a new, public FaceBook page entitled Walnut Street Church of Christ-Digital Worship. Please spread the word to your friends and family that this new public page will be a great source for both our live stream and recorded worship Sunday worship services and Wednesday evening Bible study. Bryan’s lessons will still be accessible through our website as well as CareLine.
If you do not have internet access, CD and DVD recordings are available by request. Please call the office and provide 24 hours for those to be copied. Sermons can also be viewed on local cable access channel 19 Sundays at noon, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 AM.
Reading for today: 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That[a] was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. John 1:6-9
