We wish to congratulate Val and Kelly Duran on the birth of their daughter, Mia Rose, who was born Wednesday. Proud grandparents are Ken and Carol Kerns. Proud big sister is Isabella Duran.

• Larry Brown, who is recovering from a heart attack
• Christie Southerland, who is awaiting test results
• Forrest Trotter, who is recovering from surgery
• Helen Myatt, who is recovering from outpatient back surgery
• Deanna Wheeler, who is having health issues
• Jean Moore, (mother of Joan Vineyard) who remains hospitalized following surgery

Just a reminder that Daylight Savings Time Begins Sunday, March 8. Don’t forget to spring forward!

Please note that our Sunday evening worship service will return to 6 PM starting Sunday, March 8. The Wednesday Adult Bible class will begin meeting at 4 PM on March 11.

Join us for a Food for Thought luncheon on Tuesday, March 10 at noon. Please be sure to call the church office if you would like to attend; the deadline to sign up is Friday, March 6. Our speaker will be Tommy Marvin.

There will be a graduation reception meeting for the parents of 2020 graduates Sunday afternoon at 5:15 in room 406.

All ladies are invited to Walnut Street’s annual Ladies’ Day on Saturday, March 7. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. Sign up in the Gathering Room to bring food, decorate a table, and attend. This year’s speaker will be our own Suzanne Gillson.
This Sunday, March 8 marks the beginning of a special contribution opportunity for CareNet, Dickson’s Crisis Pregnancy Center. This will support the provision of larger items of need like cribs, car seats, etc.
The Golden Deeds ministry is collecting scarves during the month of March. Each month this ministry collects a different item to be shared with the homeless of our community. Look for the collection bin in the Gathering Room.

The Senior Ministry will enjoy an outing to The Barn Dinner Theatre on Thursday, March 26, the bus leaves at 10:15 am. Space is limited to 40. Sign up in the Gathering Room. The cost is $28.50 for lunch and a show. The deadline to sign up is March 8.
