Congratulations to Billy Anderson, (guest of Walnut Streets Men’s Mission House) who was baptized Sunday morning.
We extend our sympathy to Lori Teal in the loss of her mother, Lorene Wright. Visitation will be held today from 1 PM until the time of a celebration of life service at 2 PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Jean Gooch in the loss of her sister-in-law, Mary Sue Rush. She was the aunt of Lori Whitaker and Mark Gooch. Visitation will be held today from 5-9 PM and tomorrow from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM at Chase Funeral Home in Huntington, TN.

• Virginia Petty, who has returned home from the hospital (call before visiting please)
• Jeff Poole, who responded Sunday morning asking forgiveness for the sin in his life
• James Anderson, who is in Horizon Medical Center (no visitors at this time please)

• Jeanette Page, who is in Horizon with blood clots (room # 112)
• Langston Shouse, (3-year-old grandson of Mike & Jeannette) who is recovering from surgery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio
• Monteen Roberson, (mother of Thelma Ryland) who has returned to NHC
• Austin and Megan Lannom, (friends of many at Walnut Street) whose unborn baby has been diagnosed with a serious heart defect; will see a specialist next week
• Gregory and Deeda Singh,(son-in-law and daughter of Joe and Linda Rushing) who both have pneumonia

Don’t forget our Fall Outreach: Trunk-Or-Treat is just around the corner. We need treats and exhibits. Once again, we will host this outreach in Fellowship Hall from 6 to 7:30 on Saturday, October 26. The indoor location removes weather as an issue and provides the best crowd control. Please sign up to host a table at the sign-up table in the Gathering Room. Each year at this outreach we have given Bibles or our devotional books to our visitors. Please save this date and plan to be a part of this time of fellowship and outreach.
The CIA annual hay ride will be held Saturday, October 19 from 3-6 PM at the Tidwell Farm. Please meet at the office-side parking lot, ready to leave at 3 PM. Please text 615-513-3065 if you would like to attend. A count is needed for food preparation.
Please note the following service time adjustments: Beginning Sunday, November 3 an early worship assembly, “Manna in The Morning”, will be offered at 6 AM in the chapel. Also, beginning Wednesday, November 6 our evening Bible study will be held at 6:30 PM.
Our next Food for Thought is Tuesday, November 12 at 12 noon. This year we will celebrate and recognize the service of all U.S. military veterans at this gathering. Please invite the veterans you know to join us for a lunch in their honor. Veterans and all first- time guests eat for free. Our speaker will be Walter Crafton, LTC USA (Ret.) Please RSVP with your number attending no later than Friday, November 8.
