We extend our sympathy to Meghan Richardson in the loss of her grandfather, Gene Overton, who passed away Tuesday. A graveside service will be held today at noon at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
We extend our sympathy to Mike Yates and family in the loss of his father, Buddy Yates, who passed away Thursday. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
We extend our sympathy to Daniel Cochran (former Walnut Street member) in the loss of his son, Justin Cochran. Visitation will be held today from 9 AM until the time of the funeral service at 3 PM at Spann Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Jean Pass (former Walnut Street member), in the loss of her husband, Bill Pass. Visitation will be held October 13 from 1-3 PM until the time of the memorial service at 3 PM at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home on Donelson Pike. He was the uncle of TJ Pass.

• Lorene Wright, (mother of Lori Teal) who is at home under hospice care
• Langston Shouse, (3-year-old grandson of Mike & Jeannette) who has cerebral palsy and is scheduled for Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy surgery on October 16 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio
• Mike & Jeannette Shouse, who will be traveling to Ohio for their grandson’s surgery
• Monteen Roberson, (mother of Thelma Ryland) who is recovering from skin graft surgery

October’s items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are lotion and a small blanket.
On Sunday, October 13, Walnut Street will begin a series entitled “When Life Happens…Finding Christ’s Peace in Treacherous Seas”. If you would like to have a postcard invitation to share with a friend, they are available in the church office as well as the Welcome Center. This series will be held from 5-6:30 PM each Sunday through December 22. This week’s lesson is entitled “Hooked on a Feeling”.
Make note that this month’s Wednesday Express Meal will be held on October 16 (one week later) due to Fall Break. The meal will begin at 6 PM and the menu will be BBQ chicken, green beans, macaroni and cheese and dessert.
