• Beverly Barber, who is recovering from cataract surgery
• Peggy Fisher, (sister of Sherrie Spencer) who is recovering from a stroke
• Kathy Hayes, (mother of Christy Chester) who has been admitted to Horizon Medical Center
• Rick Gray, (husband of Betty Ruth Gray, father of Ashley Fussell and BJ Owen) who will undergo surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm on September 18
• Pete Peterson, (new member) who is recovering from surgery
• Jim Webster, who is recovering from a heart procedure
• Alex Oslund, (niece of Judy Choate) who has been diagnosed with cancer; more scans to come
• Bill Bowker, (father of Valerie Littleton) who has been placed on hospice care
• Ray Rye, (son-in-law of Betty Owen) who is recovering at home from open heart surgery
• David Richardson, (father of Brian Richardson) who is recovering from surgery and will have a biopsy this week
• Niki Work, (friend of Brian & Meghan Richardson) who has been diagnosed with breast cancer
• Tammy Broadwater, (friend of Hagewood family) who has moved to Skyline Medical Center for therapy

Make note of these two new Sunday morning Bible classes – “Growing Beyond Your Selfie” will be the topic for the class meeting in room 410 and is led by Steve Moore, Bryan McAlister and Robby Harmon. Charles DeBerry’s 406 class has just begun a study entitled “Philippians-The Mind of Christ”.

Ladies, be sure to sign up for the next D.O.T.S outing to Purdie Good Café on Thursday, September 12. Sign-up sheet it located in the Gathering Room.

August’s items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are small Bibles (not just a NT) and Band-Aids. These items will be added to backpacks for the homeless in our community. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
