We extend our sympathy to Kim Shelton and family in the loss of her husband, Robert Shelton, who was killed in a car accident last night. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time. He was the father of Mason, Lola and Jaxson Shelton.
We wish to congratulate Dustin and Martha Daniel on the birth of their daughter, Emmy Reid Daniel, who was born Tuesday. Proud big sister is Macy Kate and proud grandparents are Tim and Cindy Hogue.
We extend our sympathy to the family of Ann Dunlap (former Walnut Street member) who passed away July 27. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 24 at 4 PM at Madison Funeral Home.
We wish to congratulate John Peterson, (visitor of Walnut Street) who was baptized Wednesday, August 14.

• Robert Giordano, who is experiencing back pain
• Rick Gray, (husband of Betty Ruth Gray and father of Ashley Fussell and B.J. Owen) who will return home from the hospital today; continues to undergo tests and will have surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm soon
• Selena Kinslow, who is struggling and needs prayer
• Monteen Roberson, (mother of Thelma Ryland) who is at Centennial Medical Center recovering from surgery
• Beth Ann Eftink, (great niece of Ray and Posetta Mayo) who is recovering from cancer surgery
• Odell Harris, (mother of Pamela Massie) who is recovering at home
• Ray Rye, (son-in-law of Betty Owen) who is recovering from open heart surgery at St. Thomas
• Diana Bailey, who is having a hard time after double knee surgery
• Lorene Wright, (mother of Lori Teal) who is still at Williamson Medical Center experiencing lots of pain
• Jim Webster, who is scheduled for a cardiac catheterization and possible stent surgery on August 29 in Tucson, AZ
• Tammy Broadwater, (friend of Hagewood family) who is in Centennial Medical Center

Parents of all 3rd-5th graders, there will be a brief CIA meeting this Sunday in the chapel immediately following Bible classes.
August’s items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are small Bibles (not just a NT) and Band-Aids. These items will be added to backpacks for the homeless in our community. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
Our next One Heart group meeting will be Sunday, August 25 following the evening worship. If you are not part of a One Heart Group and would like to participate, call Larry Snow at 615-446-2909.
The Senior Ministry will enjoy an outing to the Catfish House in Clarksville on Thursday, August 29. Sign up in the Gathering Room. Deadline to sign up is August 28.
