We extend our sympathy to Melinda Fortner in the loss of her father, Melvin Sullivan, who passed away Wednesday. There will be a celebration of life ceremony Saturday from 2-5 PM at Burns Church of Christ.
We wish to congratulate Lee Choate (nephew of Donnie and Judy Choate, friend of many at Walnut Street) who was baptized Saturday.

• Wayne Heflin, who has a torn rotator cuff
• Michelle LeCompte, who is having health issues
• Rick Gray, (husband of Betty Ruth Gray and father of Ashley Fussell and B.J. Owen) who will undergo tests Monday through Wednesday at Centennial Medical Center and will then be scheduled for surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm
• Lorene Wright, (mother of Lori Teal) who remains at Williamson Medical Center; dealing with extreme pain
• Odell Harris, (mother of Pamela Harris) who is in Horizon being treated for an infection
• Ray Rye, (son-in-law of Betty Owen) who will have open heart surgery on Friday at St. Thomas
• Diana Bailey, (daughter of Jim and Lynette Carlucci) who is recovering from knee surgery
• Donna Proffit, (sister of Beverly Spicer) who has gone home from the hospital following cancer surgery
• Anna Beth Fielder, (granddaughter of Nancy Fielder) who is struggling with personal issues
• Sue Brennen, (aunt of Robby Kowalczyk and Jennifer Street) who is having liver problems
• Jim Webster, who is having issues with his heart
• Monteen Roberson, (mother of Thelma Ryland) who is recovering from surgery

Other Announcements:
August’s items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are small Bibles (not just a NT) and Band-Aids. These items will be added to backpacks for the homeless in our community. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
