We wish to congratulate Andrew and Kyndall Burton on the birth of their son, Dawson Cole Burton, who was born Thursday.
We extend our sympathy to Kerry Hall in the loss of his aunt, Joan Tidwell. Funeral services were held yesterday at McDonald Funeral in Centerville.
We extend our sympathy to Billy Shelton in the loss of his brother, Jack Shelton. Graveside services were held Monday at the Rock Church Cemetery.
We extend our sympathy to Shirley Daniel (long-time Walnut Street child care employee) in the loss of her brother, Paul Harrell. Visitation will be held today from 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 1 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.

• Monteen Roberson, (mother of Thelma Ryland) who fell Wednesday and will undergo surgery at Centennial Medical Center
• Donna Proffit (sister of Beverly Spicer) who received good results from her pathology report; continues to recover from cancer surgery at Sarah Cannon (room # 4313)
• Shonda Stivers, (daughter of Wayne Heflin) who is recovering from injuries sustained in a recent car accident
• Sharon Webster, who has health issues

August’s items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are small Bibles (not just a NT) and Band-Aids. These items will be added to backpacks for the homeless in our community. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
