We extend our sympathy to Bobby Cathey and family in the loss of his uncle, Billy Spencer, who passed away Monday in Florida. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

• David Porter, who responded Sunday evening
• Jason Oliphant and family, (son of Robbie Oliphant) who is returning to Africa soon
• Ernie Gibson, (step-brother of Lisa Wright) who is in ICU in Georgia with multiple health issues
• Elaine Compton, (mother of Candice Compton) who is recovering from surgery at St. Thomas West
• Wilma Stroud, (aunt of Sherrie Turbeville) whose surgery has been postponed; she will undergo a biopsy on May 9
• Clinton Williams, (brother of Milton Williams) who is recovering from open heart surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Churches of Christ Disaster Relief is in need of volunteers to assist in packing family food boxes, Friday morning at 10 AM.
May’s items for the Golden Deeds ministry are granola bars and rain ponchos. These items will be added to backpacks for the homeless in our community. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.

Ladies, don’t miss the annual Mother Daughter Banquet on Monday, May 6 in the Gathering Room. Photos will begin at 5:30 PM, meal and program will begin at 6 PM. Cost is $14 for adults, $7 for girls age 6-12 and girls 5 and under are free. Call the office by 9 AM today if you would like to attend.
Everyone is invited to a teaching seminar at Burns Church of Christ on Saturday, May 4 from 9 AM to 2 PM. The seminar will be hosted by author Michael Whitworth of Ft. Worth, TX. There is no charge.
