We wish to congratulate Richard and Lisa Wright on the birth of their grandson, Zeal Ryan Pickens, who was born Friday. Proud parents are Ryan and Annie Pickens. Proud big sister is Eliza, and proud aunt is Stephanie Wright.

We extend our sympathy to Robbie Oliphant in the loss of her husband, John Oliphant, who passed away Monday morning. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Taylor Funeral Home. He was the brother of Linda Williams.

We extend our sympathy to Jaimie Walls Patrick (friend of many here at Walnut Street) and family in the loss of her husband, Andrew Patrick. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 1 PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Thomas Nester (frequent visitor at Walnut Street) who passed away Monday evening.  Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.

Make plans to attend our upcoming 5th Sunday Celebration on March 31.  John Dale will speak both our 9 AM and mid-day worship services. During the Bible class hour our Family Life Groups will meet, followed by an add-a-dish meal.  Be sure to bring enough food for your family and several guests.

Parents of upcoming high school and college graduates, please send in your child’s photo with details about their post-graduation plans for inclusion in our annual graduation insert.  These can be emailed to Shawn at sharmon@wscoc.com.  Deadline is Wednesday, April 10.
