We extend our sympathy to Sarah Turner and family in the loss of her husband, Perry Turner. A memorial service was held Wednesday here at Walnut Street. He was the father of Tricee Turner.

Congratulations to John and Kimberly Fowlkes on the birth of their granddaughter, Audrey Brooke Hoffmann, who was born Sunday. Proud parents are Alex and Kara Hoffmann and proud aunt is Sarah Lewis.

We extend our sympathy to Peggy Cunningham (friend of many) in the loss of her husband, Harry Cunningham, Sr. Funeral services were held Sunday at Taylor Funeral Home.

Volunteers are needed to assist with table and chair set up for the Sunday evening fellowship meal. If you are able to help, please meet in the Fellowship Hall tonight at 6:30 PM. 

Please note that the Alzheimer’s Support Group will not meet this Sunday. This group’s next meeting will be Sunday, April 28.

Make a note: the Sunday, March 24 evening service will begin at 5 PM to allow everyone time to enjoy hearing the youth chorus performance and finger-food fellowship.

On Sunday, March 24 Walnut Street’s young men will conduct the evening worship service and the youth chorus will sing following the service. You won’t want to miss it! Also make plans to stay and enjoy finger-food fellowship meal after the chorus completes their performance.

Parents of all 2019 high school graduates are invited to a Graduation Reception meeting on Sunday, March 24 at 4:30 in room 406. Please note time change.

Churches of Christ Disaster Relief is in need of volunteers to help pack family food boxes today at 10 AM.  These boxes will go to areas recently affected by flooding and tornadoes.

Walnut Street’s Quilters group will meet this evening at 6 PM in room 406.

Sign-up sheets will be available in all adult classes (and at the sign-up desk) Sunday morning for the upcoming Community Egg Hunt.  There are lots of ways you and your family can be involved in this outreach event.
