We extend our sympathy to Jean Gooch in the loss of her grandson, Brandon Gooch, who passed away Saturday, January 19. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26 from 12 PM until the time of the funeral service at 4 PM at Taylor Funeral Home. Brandon was also the nephew of Lori Whitaker and Mark & Stephanie Gooch.
Prayers are requested for:
- Jim Williams, who responded Sunday morning asking for prayers
- Janice Curd, who has begun chemo treatments
- Bruce Howell, (brother of Beth Greene and uncle of Tommy Greene) who has returned to Centennial Hospital
- Kathryn Fleet, (mother of Jeanette Page) who has health issues
- Norman “Buddy” Yates, (father of Mike Yates) who is recovering from colon cancer surgery

All 3rd-5th graders are invited to join the CIA group for a trip to the movies, this Saturday January 26. The group will see The Kid Who Would Be King at the Roxy. We will meet at the church office door at 11:00 AM and return at 3:00 PM. Please find the sign-up sheet in the Gathering Room.
Ladies, mark your calendars for the 2019 Winter Ladies’ Fellowship on Friday, January 25 at 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Menu will be finger foods. Devotional speaker will be Mendy McAlister. Sign up in the Gathering Room.
Do you have a friend or loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia? Make plans to attend the Alzheimer’s Support Group on Sunday, January 27 at 4:30 PM in room 101. This group meets every 4th Sunday.
