We extend our sympathy to Linda Hayes and family in the loss of her brother, Garry Peeler. Funeral services were held Monday at Spann Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Chris & Polly Spencer in the passing of Chris’ father, Edwin Spencer. Funeral services were held yesterday at Dickson Funeral Home.

- Norman “Buddy” Yates, (father of Mike Yates) who is scheduled for colon cancer surgery on Friday
- Bernice Goad, who is undergoing treatment for cancer and having a rough time
- George Wright, who has returned home from the hospital
- Ronnie Hooper, (brother of Sandra Turbeville and Linda Overbey) who has cancer
- Melissa Tinsley, (friend of Peggy Bean) whose eye surgery went well

Parents of 3rd-5th grade students, there will be a very brief CIA parents meeting this Sunday following Bible classes in the chapel to discuss upcoming activities.
Walnut Street will host an important security seminar on Saturday, January 19, focusing on awareness/threat identification and verbal conflict resolution. The event will begin at 1:30 PM in room 406. Everyone is welcome to attend. Sign up in the Gathering Room.

Do you have a friend or loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia? Make plans to attend the Alzheimer’s Support Group on Sunday, January 27 at 4:30 PM in room 101. This group meets every 4th Sunday.
