- Joyce Baker, who has been diagnosed with cancer and will undergo 30 days of radiation treatments
- Christine Hall, who had an appointment Thursday to get stitches out and remove cast (no weight bearing for at least 4 more months)
- Robert Mitchell, who has moved to NHC (room 207)
- Kimberly Fowlkes, who received good news from her hearing test
- James Anderson, who is undergoing breathing treatments at Horizon Medical Center (room 133)

Walnut Street’s Alzheimer’s Support Group welcomes special guest speakers Sue Bell and Dr. Sally Willard Burbank to the Sunday, October 28 meeting. They are authors of the book “The Alzheimer’s Disease Caregiver’s Handbook, What to Remember When They Forget”. The meeting begins at 4:30 PM in room 101. Everyone is welcome.

Walnut Street’s annual Trunk or Treat outreach event will take place this Saturday, from 6-7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Call the church office if you’d like to help. 615-446-2909. We are still accepting candy and treats and exhibits are still needed!
The Homebuilders group has postponed the hayride and bonfire that was scheduled for tonight until next Friday night November 2. Please check the Walnut Street Homebuilder’s Facebook page for more details.
Are you interested in joining the hurricane relief efforts in Florida, North Carolina or South Carolina? The Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team is currently set up in New Bern, NC and Wilmington, NC. Soon they will also be at the Jenks Ave. Church of Christ in Panama City, FL to help with the cleanup. Dates are Nov 6-11 and Nov.17-21. Housing and food will be provided.
